Making your practise work for you

How to Get the Most Out of Your Yoga Practice
  1. Set Up Your Space
  • Find a quiet, comfortable place where you won’t be disturbed.
  • Make sure the floor is clean and free of clutter (if possible).
  • Use a yoga mat to provide cushioning and traction.
  • If you have props such as blocks, bolsters, or straps, have them nearby.
  1. Choose a Video from the Library
  • Consider your skill level and experience when choosing a video.
  • If you’re new to yoga, start with a beginner video.
  • If you’re more experienced, you may want to try a more challenging video.
  • Read the video description carefully to get an idea of what to expect.
  1. Follow the Instructions
  • Listen to the instructor’s instructions carefully and follow them as closely as possible.
  • If you’re not sure how to do a pose, ask the instructor for clarification.
  • Don’t be afraid to modify the poses if you need to.
  1. Breathe Deeply
  • Breathing deeply is an essential part of yoga.
  • Inhale and exhale slowly and evenly throughout your practice.
  • Focus on your breath and let it guide your movements.
  1. Be Patient
  • It takes time to develop a yoga practice.
  • Keep going even if you can’t do all the poses perfectly.
  • Just keep practising and you will eventually see improvement.
  1. Listen to Your Body
  • Pay attention to your body’s sensations throughout your practice.
  • If you feel pain, stop and rest.
  • Don’t push yourself too hard.
  1. Relax and Enjoy
  • Yoga is not a competition.
  • The goal is to relax and enjoy your practice.
  • Let go of any expectations and just be present in the moment.

Free - The Shadow Work Master Class

Shadow-work is the process of exploring and accepting the hidden parts of ourselves, including our negative traits, emotions, and thoughts. It involves acknowledging and confronting our ‘shadow side’, rather than trying to suppress or ignore it.

Shadow-work can be challenging and uncomfortable, but it is also an essential part of personal growth and self-awareness. By understanding our shadow side, we can learn to accept and love ourselves more fully, and we can develop healthier relationships with others.

Free - Introspective self discovery workbook

To make the most of the help that is available, we need to possess a clear understanding of our starting point and our desired destination. This involves identifying our specific needs, assessing our current situation, and determining the steps required to bridge the gap between where we are and where we want to be.

This is where the ‘Introspective Self Discovery’ Workbook comes into its own.

To fully benefit from our journey, and manifest the life we truly desire we must delve deep into our past, to the very inception of our subconscious beliefs, and revisit the moments when these beliefs were reinforced.

Extras - Wellness Video Library

In our Dhyana Category, we have a special section called “Inspirational Artists” that features free videos from talented yoga instructors and wellness practitioners who share their content on YouTube. Although we didn’t create or pay for this content, we believe it can be valuable and beneficial to our clients.

We encourage you to support these artists by subscribing to their YouTube channels and showing your appreciation for their work. Together, we can create a vibrant and supportive yoga community where everyone can thrive.
